Zusammenfassung: | This study was conducted to determine if gastrin releasing peptide stimulates the exocrine pancreatic secretion and the release of immunoreactive CCK and PP in conscious dogs. Synthetic gastrin releasing peptide were given to five dogs with pancreatic and gastric fistulas. Plasma CCK was measured by a sensitive and specific radioimmunoassay for CCK 33. Graded doses of GRP (0.5-4μg/kg-hr) stimulated increases of pancreatic juice flow, bicarbonate, protein and amylase outputs in a dose-related manner with maximal response at a dose of 2μg/kg-hr. Plasma levels of CCK and PP were elevated significantly during 2μg/kg-hr of GRP infusion, showing integrated value of CCK and PP 2.7±0.5 and 5.4±1.3n mol-30min/L respectively. These results suggest that stimulatory effect of gastrin releasing peptide on exocrine pancreatic secretion may be mediated, at least partly, through the release of CCK. |
