Radiogallium Accumulation in Heterotopic Bone

Images from two cases are presented in which heavy soft tissue deposition of Ga-67 citrate occurred due to previously unrecognized heterotopic bone formation. Failure to recognize this cause of gallium uptake may result in misleading interpretation and inappropriate therapy.
