Melanoma erysipeloides: inflammatory metastatic melanoma of the skin

Summary We report a case of diffuse infiltration of the skin of the chest wall with metastatic melanoma. This developed as a direct extension from right axillary lymph nodes. Histology and immunohistochemistry showed invasion of dermal lymphatics with melanoma cells.
