Zusammenfassung:In order to reach the National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives, a better-trained public health work force will be needed. Linkages between schools of public health and the practice of public health are needed for optimal teaching, research and service. The University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine established the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice in Jul 1993 to expand such linkages.
