Zusammenfassung:	Assessment of myocardial perfusion during exercise and pharmacologic stress testing is an important factor in the detection of coronary artery disease and in risk assessment. Imaging techniques that examine myocardial perfusion and cellular integrity or myocardial metabolism flow mismatches aid in the detection of reversible causes of left ventricular dysfunction. These techniques are also helpful in managing patients after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty or thrombolytic therapy.
