Hepatic Hemorrhage without Rupture in Preeclampsia

HEPATIC hemorrhage with rupture is a serious complication of preeclampsia with a high maternal and perinatal mortality, and the literature states that surgical intervention is indicated. 1 , 2 Patients with preeclampsia who have hepatic hemorrhage without rupture can present with similar signs and symptoms; however, the incidence, natural history, and therapy of this condition have not been well described.
