Zusammenfassung:The common echocardiographic features of left atrial (LA) myxoma are well described, 1,3,4 and echocardiography is the diagnostic modality of choice. These echocardiographic features depend on the size, mobility and echogenicity of the LA myxoma. We propose a new classification system which may improve the diagnostic accuracy of echocardiography for LA myxoma.
