Zusammenfassung:Extract: This study compared accuracy of the 24-hour recall completed by 60 elderly (65 to 94 years old) subjects using three methods: I, unaided oral recall, II, printed questionnaire, and III, interview with actual-size color pictures of foods. The factors of age, sex, educational level, obesity, place of residence, and food preparer were studied. There were no significant differences in scores owing to method, except that those over 76 years old scored higher using the questionnaire. No demographic factor made a significant difference in score. (Author)
