Long-term echocardiographic Doppler monitoring of Hancock bioprostheses in the aortic valve position

Long-term findings in 38 patients with an isolated Hancock aortic bioprosthesis as a result of a 15-year follow-up are discussed. The anatomic and functional characteristics were assessed by M-mode, 2D and Doppler examination.
