Determination of total mercury in waters and urine by flow injection atomic absorption spectrometry procedures involving on- and off-line oxidation of organomercury species

A system for performing flow injection analysis for the determination of dissolved mercury in water samples is described. Results suggest that procudures for the speciation of mercury may be based on total mercury determination and inorganic mercury determination.
