Fourier transform mass spectrometry of high-mass biomolecules

The use of Fourier transform mass spectrometry to characterize large biopolymers, including peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides and oligosaccharides, is discussed. The technique is sensitive and allows rapid sampling analysis.
