Zusammenfassung:Chronic destructive arthritis is a rare complication of Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF). The hip joints are most commonly involved, but destructive changes may also occur in the knees, ankles, sacroiliac spine, shoulder, or temporomandibular joints. A 28-year-old man with bilateral advanced coxitis and FMF was successfully treated by total hip arthroplasty.
