An unusual mediastinal tumor in a patient with aids

The case of a patient with AIDS and a primary mediastinal mixed germ cell tumor is reported. The case highlights the need for pursuit of specific tissue diagnosis in HIV patients with mediastinal masses and cervical lymphadenopathy.
