Zusammenfassung:	Three cases of distal thumb reconstruction with a reverse pedicled osteocutaneous flap taken from the dorso-ulnar aspect of the first metacarpal are presented. Even though the indications are rare, this flap is useful for the reconstruction of distal osteocutaneous defects of the thumb where more complex procedures are not feasible or considered as excessive.
