Zusammenfassung:Conventional computed axial tomography has been used to assess the pancreatic disease, but its diagnostic utility is not evaluated so high. This paper describes a clinical use of reconsti ucted coronal and sagittal images of pancreas. Reconstruction CT images were obtained by Siemens body scanner, Somatom SD and image viewer Evaluskop. Scan time was 4.5 seconds and the scans were obtained at intervals of each 3mm, with a slice thickness of 4mm. Multiplanar reconstruction has proven very useful in diagnosis of pancreatic disease and also in estimation of pancreatic volume. It can be expected to take an important place in pancreatic diagnostic study.
