Zusammenfassung: | Most of the papers in the literature dealing with magnetic losses present results obtained with flux metric methods. But those techniques of measurement are known to be inaccurate when the voltage and current probes of the device introduce a significant phase shift at high frequencies. As a consequence, it is important to develop alternative methods to measure losses in magnetic materials. A natural way of measurement is the calorimetric method which is by principle free of the above mentioned problem. Here, we propose to compare results obtained with two different calorimetric methods. Experiments were conducted on a commercial Mn-Zn ferrite under sinusoidal waveform induction for frequencies varying from 10 kHz to 200 kHz. The two methods give close results and some explanations for the differences are provided. |
