Zusammenfassung: | The term “psychogenic headache” should be restricted to headaches that reflect an underlying psychiatric disorder. Four types of such headaches may be recognized: muscle contraction headaches, conversion headaches, psychotic head pain, and Vascular headaches. Although migraine does not completely fit the definition of psychogenic headache, it may have a psychogenic basis and it may coexist with muscle contraction headache in some patients. |
