Human lymphoblastoid interferon can inhibit the growth of human breast cancer xenografts in athymic (nude) mice

Human lymphoblastoid (Namalwa) interferon inhibited the development and growth of 2 out of 3 human breast carcinomas grown as xenografts in athymic (nude) mice. This inhibition could be abolished by preincubation of the interferon with a potent antiserum.
