Zusammenfassung:	The author presents a study of 280 cases of frontal face lift out of 2,934 cases of rhytidectomy, and his personal technique for correction of frontal and glabellar wrinkles. The anatomical and physiological aspects of the facial musculature, especially the procerus and corrugator muscles, are described. Emphasis is placed on the technique of vertical and horizontal cuts in the aponeurosis of the frontal region.
