Zusammenfassung:	Pig mitochondrial aspartate aminotransferase has been crystallized from polyethylene glycol solutions ( M r = 4000) with the aid of small seed crystals of the chicken mitochondrial isoenzyme. The “hanging drop” vapour diffusion technique was used. The unit cells of the pig and chicken mitochondrial isoenzymes are roughly isomorphous. Diffraction data have been collected to a resolution of 2.8 Å.
