Zusammenfassung: | 13 6-month-old infants were observed biweekly until they were about 12 months of age to replicate and elaborate the observations which Piaget employs to define State IV in the development of object concepts. Piaget observed that when infants first are able to find an object which is visibly hidden in one place, they search for it in that place when it is visibly hidden at a second place. A developmental sequence was found which confirms Piaget's observations and generally supports his explanation. |
