Zusammenfassung:1. The amount of phospholipids in rat brain can be enhanced by feeding the rats a diet rich in phospholipids. 2. Enhancement of phospholipids in the rat brain can also be achieved by feeding the rats a diet rich in oleic acid. 3. The increase in phospholipids is accompanied in either case by a higher level of the polyamines spermine and spermidine.
