Zusammenfassung:A simple and direct column chromatographic system has been described for the determination of tryptophan, the basic amino acids, and tyrosine and phenylalanine. The new system employs only one buffer (pH 5.30) and temperature (55°C). Application to the analysis of plasma deproteinized with trichloroacetic acid was tested, and the results obtained were similar to those of previous methods that require a separate assay for tryptophan.
