Zusammenfassung: | Discrepancies between lead and cadmium levels in drinking water samples obtained in two surveys in Massachusetts have been investigated. The most obvious difference in the two sampling techniques was the acidification procedure, and tests were carried out to determine whether acid ampoules used in the second sampling caused contamination. The line marking the break-off point of the acid-containing ampoules consisted of a paint containing both lead and cadmium. |
