Melt texturing and properties control of Nd sub(1+y)Ba sub(2-y)Cu sub(3)O sub(x) bulk materials

Melt textured NdBaCuO samples with T sub(c) identical with 94 K and j sub(c)(0 T, 77 K) identical with 46 kA/cm super(2) have been prepared on an isothermal route. The thermodynamic background of this procedure which aims at the production of a Ba rich Nd-123 is pointed out.
