Zusammenfassung: | A deployable antenna of 10
m maximum diameter has been developed in the so-called tensioned cable truss scheme. This type of antennas have many features in comparison with conventional deployable antennas, some of which cause difficulties in characteristics verification. This paper describes the verification and testing methods of the antenna with a reasonable complexity and cost in the stages of basic study and manufacturing, and after launch. As a result, the antenna was successfully launched and deployed in February, 1997. |
