Zusammenfassung:We measured the expansion coefficient of glass-fibre reinforced nylon as a function of temperature between 4.2 and 300 K. The linear thermal expansion is about half that of unfilled nylon throughout the temperatures investigated. The thermal conductivity in the 0.2–5 K temperature range is very close to that of unfilled nylon and can be represented by the fit curve k=2.42×10 −5 T 1.77.
