Zusammenfassung:A mathematically rigorous control design framework for linear control of spacecraft relative position dynamics with guaranteed closed-loop stability was developed. In particular, a pulse-based control architecture that can potentially lower the fuel consumption in multiple spacecraft formation flying (MSFF) was established. An illustrative numerical simulation demonstrated the efficacy of the approach.
