Zusammenfassung:To demonstrate the fabricability of the first wall (FW) blanket, a middle-scaled mock-up was fabricated using a sandwiched tube technique. The technique used a 20-mm thick DSCu heat sink containing stainless steel cooling tubes oriented poloidally. After hot isostatic pressing (HIP) bonding, microscopic observations of the bonded interfaces were undertaken using the remnant edge of the mock-up. Pressure-resistant and helium leak tests were also performed to confirm the integrity of pressure boundaries.
