Zusammenfassung:In previous works we have introduced the basic features of a method for the numerical simulation of heat and mass transfer processes during casting formation. Within this approach we describe here the evolution of pressure and the formation of porosity defects in hot spots by the simultaneous treatment of thermoelastic, crystallization and porosity growth problems in axially symmetric castings.
