Zusammenfassung: | A series of tests, such as nozzle single tests, blade single tests and single stage turbine tests have been conducted in hopes of putting a hot water turbine to practical use. A hot water turbine is considered to be very useful for waste heat recovery plants and geothermal power plants. In this report, both experimental and theoretical results of blade performance are described. The hot water turbine blade is used to convert the high-speed two-phase flow of a Laval nozzle to a rotating energy. It is shown that blade width and blade inlet pressure have a large influence upon two-phase flow blade performance. From an observation of blade exit flows, it is confirmed that the exit flow angle becomes larger in the low-quality two-phase flow. |
