Zusammenfassung: | Research and development work on the application of a fluidized bed for thermal treatment began in the USSR in 1957 when it was first suggested as a hardening medium. Since then, fluidized bed technology has been widely used in various branches of metallurgy and machine building. At present, quite a number of heat and chemical heat treatment techniques in a fluidized bed have been developed and realized in industrial conditions. Some of these methods are discussed. Examples of steel 3316 Gr.E, 5130H, 4137, 9260, L7, and 01 are given. 8 ref.--AA |
