Zusammenfassung: | In order to reduce the particulate emission from diesel engines, oxygen enriched air is charged to a direct injection diesel engine. Dry soot and SOF are remarkably reduced especially at light load and heavy load, and fuel consumption is also improved, when oxygen concentration is more than 25% and injection period is retarded. However, nitrogen oxide increases with the oxygen concentration. Therefore, it seems to be the optimum condition on the oxygen concentration to achieve the D.I. engine with moderate exhaust emission. |
