Zusammenfassung:When the M.E. Shvez iterative method is used to numerically solve a differential equation containing a small-quantity term, if the term is of singularity, or if the term is really not small in certain zone within the region we considered, we often meet troubles. Therefore, an improved M. E. Shvez iterative method was put forward to solve the problem, and our numerical illustrative examples show that its precision is as good as the one obtained from the singular perturbation method, as compared to the exact solution, but its computational procedure is simpler than the one of singular perturbation method.
