Zusammenfassung:As partner in Sonderforschungsbereich 241 “New Integrated Mechanic–Electronic Solutions for Mechanical Engineering Systems” of Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft at Darmstadt University of Technology the Automotive Engineering Department (fzd) is doing research in its three SFB-projects: Tire with an Integrated Sensor (A3), Adaptive Wheel Suspension (A7) and Electrically Actuated Wheel Brake (B6). In this paper research targets, working principles, prototype performances and components' contributions to a smart interlinked so called mechatronic vehicle corner will be described.
