Zusammenfassung:Presently, only a few thermal expansion studies of the BiPbSrCaCuO system at low and moderate temperature are published. Hence, this paper presents the results of thermal expansion studies in the range of 30-800 degree C on superconducting BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics, and its components (Bi sub(2)O sub(3), PbO, CaO, CuO) are presented. The phase transitions in Bi sub(2)O sub(3) and PbO during the high-temperature heat treatments are also investigated.
