Zusammenfassung: | The operational reliability and safety of petroleum refining equipment depends to a substantial extent on the effectiveness of corrosion protection. Chemical methods that reduce the aggressiveness of the working medium and its corrosion action on metals are very promising. The problem has become even more pressing in connection with the introduction of high-throughout LK-6u plants, which include both an initial refining section and a section for catalytic reforming of gasoline fractions. Under conditions where moisture condenses at temperatures of 70-130 degree C (depending on pressures), hydrogen chloride causes electrochemical corrosion, which becomes more rapid in the presence of hydrogen sulfide and is characterized by uniform metal corrosion over the entire surface. Protection against low-temperature corrosion is provided by neutralizing reagents and corrosion inhibitors. |
