Zusammenfassung:It was found out experimentally that the quality of frozen semen is greatly improved with proper irradiation dose of laser. For the two treated groups with 2.7 J/cm super(2) and 4.5 J/cm super(2)doses, the unfrozen vitality, respiration, fructose utilization and super(32)Pi intake are much higher (p less than or equal to 0.01 and p less than or equal to 0.05 respectively) than those in control. The acrosome integrity rate and lifetime are also higher (p less than or equal to 0.05) than those in control for the group treated with 2.7 J/cm super(2) dose. The mechanism for the improvement of semen quality with laser irradiation was also investigated.
