Zusammenfassung:This paper documents and presents the procedure and findings that were employed in the development of fatigue design load ranges for sign and signal support structures. Wind-tunnel tests and field observations, interpreted with dynamic finite element analysis, were used to develop the equivalent static fatigue limit-state load ranges, which are induced by three wind-loading phenomena: galloping, natural wind gusts, and truck-induced wind gusts.
