Zusammenfassung:Summary Heteroagglutinins for sheep erythrocytes were studied in the serum of 4 inbred mouse strains. Antisheep agglutinins were present much more frequently and in significantly higher titers in C57 black than in C3H, dba, and Marsh-albino strains. Some properties of the sheep agglutinins were studied. No such differences were found in the distribution of heteroagglutinins for human red cells in the different strains. The possible significance of these findings was discussed.
