Anti-tumour effect of chlorambucil-antibody complexes in a murine melanoma system

An anti-serum against a transplantable murine melanoma (Harding Passey melanoma; HPM) was raised in rabbits. The IgG fraction of the anti-serum was non-covalently linked to chlorambucil. The chlorambucil-antibody complex was tested in BALB/c mice injected i.p. with HMP cells. The complex had conside...

Zusammenfassung:An anti-serum against a transplantable murine melanoma (Harding Passey melanoma; HPM) was raised in rabbits. The IgG fraction of the anti-serum was non-covalently linked to chlorambucil. The chlorambucil-antibody complex was tested in BALB/c mice injected i.p. with HMP cells. The complex had considerably more anti-tumour effect than the unlinked components.
