A brief account of the various types of face pain is presented together with valuable diagnostic hints. 3. 3. Nerve blocking is frequently useful diagnostically and therapeutically in the management of patients with pain in the face and its contents. 4. 4. Emphasis is placed on the difficulties of diagnosis and treatment which can be ameliorated only by meticulous care in the study of each problem.
