Zusammenfassung: | The behaviour of compounds which are exposed to various thermodynamic potential gradients is investigated. Phenomenological concepts are introduced and experimentally verified with oxides and sulfides. The following problems are discussed: (a) Formation of double oxides (spinel formation) and the functioning of an oxygen pump. (b) Defect relaxation processes and the establishment of local equilibrium during solid state reactions (interdiffusion NiO-CoO). (c) The role of interface kinetics in heterogeneous solid state reactions and the in-situ determination of chemical component potential during alpha - beta -Ag sub(2)S phase transformation. |
