Zusammenfassung: | The farfield acoustic radiation from a doubly periodic, ring-supported, fluid-loaded, circular cylindrical shell is computed for moment and longitudinal mechanical drives. The shell model used by C.B. Burroughs to compute the acoustic radiation for a radial point drive is employed in this effort. The rings interact with the shell only through normal forces. The model includes the effect of fluid loading and interaction between ring supports. |
