Zusammenfassung: | In this paper we analyse the so-called Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline in a game theoretic framework. The paper develops models for cooperative and non-cooperative strategies of Iran, Pakistan, and India. It also analyses the expected profits and the prices for the three players. The importance of IPI gas pipeline has also been highlighted for the economic development of the each country involved in this project. The IPI gas pipeline is called peace pipeline in the jargon of political language. We have discussed this mainly in the economic perspective and not as a geo-political scenario; implicit players like the USA are not included in our model. |
