Identifying volcanic lithofacies of Yingcheng Formatiom by seismic attributes in the Anda Fault-Depression of Songliao Basin

Volcanic lithofacies of Yingcheng Formation in the Anda Fault-Depression could be divided into live types-volcanic vent facies, explosive facies, effusive facies, sub-volcanic (invading) facies and volcano-sedimentary facies,with each facies having its own seismic attributes. Based on seismic reflection features of different facies,this papar identified volcanic lithofacies(three explosive facies) in the Anda Fault-Depression by seismic section interpretation, coherence technique and amplitude attributes, and encircled three localities of volcanic rocks with explosive facies. According to this example, the paper discussed the application of the method to identify volcanic lithofacies and reservoir's physical characters of the volcanic rocks.
