To date, process map work has addressed the thin wall geometry of Figure 1. Such thin-walled geometries are commonly fabricated using the LENS and other SFF processes. It is assumed that the thin wall is fabricated by depositing material along a single row; thus, the thickness of the wall is comparable to the molten melt pool size.
