Ethical Problems in Academic Research
A survey of 2,000 doctoral candidates and 2,000 faculty members has raised serious questions about the ethical environment of graduate education and research. Survey results on the incidence of plagiarism, misuse of funds, overlooking flawed data and inappropriate authorship are discussed.
