Zusammenfassung: | Bubbles are important to many processes of interest in geophysics, as well as in other disciplines such as chemical engineering, biopharmaceuticals, and waste-water management, among others. Two bubble measurement systems (BMS) were developed and used to measure bubbles in the background and plume populations during air-sea gas transfer experiments in a laboratory situation. Leifer et al discuss the design criteria of the two systems and provide a review of previous BMS. |
