Zusammenfassung:	In order to search for new psychotropic agents, several 1-butanone derivatives (VIII) substituted by pyridine, indole or quinoline were synthesized. And the carbonyl group of VIII was modified to methylene (XII), secondary alcohol (XIII) and vinyl (XIV). The effects of the compounds on spontaneous motor activity and rotarod test in mice were determined. The structure-activity relationships of these derivatives are discussed.
